When jamming it through with 60 votes didn't work out, Democrats consider jamming it through with 50 via Reconciliation. Were they listening at all this week? It doesn't seem like it. Naked Emperor has a composite of Democrats opining on the reconciliation path to universal health care destruction. Reconciliation will leave Democrats with a bill that is more swiss cheese than anything and invites the argument that voters need to make sure Republicans have 50 votes in the Senate come November so they can undo it. Is that what they want? It sure seems like it.
