Jon Stewart Destroys Olbermann and Defends Michelle Malkin

This clip was quite the buzz on twitter late last night.  Olbermann is going to need medication if another thing breaks against the Democrats this week.  Scratch that, we already knew he needed medication.  Still, his ranting this week is a step beyond the usual insanity we see from Olbermann and it is getting progressively worse as the week wears on.  I posted Olbermann's  Dred Scott diatribe with Alan Grayson where the two let loose on the Citizen's United ruling handed down from the Supreme Court.  His rantings on Scott Brown are the subject of Jon Stewart's skewering  in this case, however.

Stewart does an amazing job with his fisking of Olbermann.  Conservatives will love the part where he turns the tables on Olbermann's attack on Brown when he apologizes for failing to include the charge of sexism to his list of insane "name calling."    Stewart uses the bit when Olbermann attacks Michelle Malkin calling her a "big mashed up bag of meat with lipstick," against him with aplomb.  Michelle noted the hypocrisy of Olbermann's sexism charge as well.  Update: found a clip to post so enjoy!

Michelle Malkin on Glenn Beck: Who Will Get the Real Gold if Chicago Gets Olympics?

Michelle Malkin was on today's Glenn Beck show to discuss who exactly pays and who benefits if the Obamas are successful in winning the bid for the 2016 Olympic games. Beck wonders what the level of corruption the games would produce given Chicago's long history of corrupt politics. Add Valerie Jarrett to the mix and let the games begin.

WE HAVE A WINNER

I started my blog just about two months ago and now am nearing a bit of a landmark.   I am just 53 visits away from reaching 5000 visits.  While I know there are blogs that get 10 times that number visitors an hour, I am thrilled to be hitting this mark in two months.  I am very close to reaching that number now according to the blogger dashboard that has been tracking visits since the first day.  My sitemeter was added quite a bit later, so that doesn't reflect an accurate count.    I will watch the meter and post the location of the visitor who puts me over the 5000 mark.  The visitor who matches that location can send me their address and I will mail them a copy of Michelle Malkin's fantastic book.
