Burns’ staffers were in a celebratory mood after a candidate forum last night at Westmont Hilltop High School, where Democrat Mark Critz — a former Murtha staffer — apologized for a misleading TV ad run by the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. FactCheck.org labeled that ad false last week, saying, “For Democrats, misrepresenting an opponent’s anti-tax position as an anti-jobs position is getting to be a bad habit.” . . .Tim Burns' election could be the turning point for Pennsylvania and build the momentum for taking back the House in the fall.

A Patriot for Pennsylvania's 12th Congressional District: Tim Burns
Stacy McCain who attended the PA-12 candidates debate believes Republican Tim Burns has momentum. Maybe the donning of the famous fedora of a certain blogger had something to do with that. Well, that or the fact Burns received huge endorsements from Sarah Palin and Newt Gingrich. He made an appearance on Hannity just before the debate. Meanwhile, his opponent, Democrat Mark Critz, took the blame for a DCCC ad falsely representing Burns' position on the fair tax. From the American Spectator:
